I put Audrey to bed.
She gets out.
She falls asleep in her chair.
I check on her.
I out her back in her bed.

And sometimes this gets repeated ;)

Doing renos this time around we have done SO good, let's be honest sheena is always a deal finder and a budget stickler.

Naptime..
I was ordering lots of house stuff.
All from the comfort of my bed during naptime. I was amazed at how much money can be spent with one tap of the finger...
Sorry I just passed out haha.
This house better look good or else I'll pass out even more ;)

Naked and Buttered

Our day...
I was feeding Beckham breakfast and things where getting a little to quiet. When things get quiet you know Audrey is up to trouble.
Sure enough she had smuggled the butter into the family room and was eating it by the HANDFULS...barf!!

Next...carpet store.
There was a playhouse. Audrey happily went off and played while I chose the carpet for our house. Bliss. Bliss is doing house errands with a happy toddler.

Audrey went and played and you could hear her giggling. It was so cute I had to take a picture. It was awesome.

Then she said...'peekaboo mommy' and came running out of playhouse BUTT NAKED!!

Whaaaaaaat?
Yes there is no picture of that...I was very quick about putting her in the playhouse and dressing her again...oh man! What a monkey!

Fear

Audrey walked in her 7th month.
Beckham is 10 months
He stands for short periods
I'm ok with that.
Aunty Lindsay lent B this walker and well if you look at the picture it shows you the situation of fear...he is a SPEED monkey. Sight, I was hoping to hold this stage off...oh well, right?

Hello Again

So I took a vacation...
Jokes!
Life has been going at warp speed and I didn't have a chance to blog. I need to get back into the groooove.

Brent is working 16 hour days/7 days a week. He's working his butt off trying to make it so we can move in by September....almost half done!!!

Audrey and Brent have SUCH a special friendship. I'll list some Reno acts about them.
-Audrey 90% of the time waits up for Brent. She sits on her bed in the dark from 7pm-10/1030pm and patiently waits.
-I tell her lay down and go night night and she tells me no I want daddy (I guess she is on strike?)
-Brent can't handle not waking her up at 10/10:30 if she isn't awake waiting for him.
-The nights she has fallen asleep in the midst of waiting for daddy. (when she is asleep she is a rock...almost dead...totally unwakeable) he is TOTALLY disappointed and a little heartbroken...oh dear me haha
-I have caught them having LATE night tea parties
-I have caught Brent sneaking out to give Audrey a cuddle
-I took away BOTH Audreys naps so that she will keep going to bed at 7pm and not stay up waiting for Brent (in not cruel...she's 2 and needs sleep!)
-She won that battle. She started collapsing out of pure exhaustion on the floor, couch, stuffies, chair...anywhere...she can't handle it.
-we are back to naps and waiting up for daddy...one more month ;)

9months old

Beckham is crawling like a mad man

Starting to stand with no help!
He is my little monkey and he is starting to figure things out! I love how much personality he has and how much he ADORES his sister! Audrey and him often fight if he is playing with his own toys. She is always forcing him to play with her. She makes him lots of pretend meals, dresses him in doll cloths, gives him snacks and bottles and everyday you hear her say, 'I wanna hold my brother.' well beckham and Audrey are only 6 pounds difference now ha ha so she isn't able to hold him like she used to! It's pretty hilarious!

Recently-july3

We got possession June 29, so we have been going 'strong' for almost a week. Ok not quite a week but I exaggerate. We have had a couple small bumps, a couple budget increases, a couple budget savings.

Overall it's going great!

Audrey has been missing daddy big time. If you ask her were daddy she is she will solemnly say 'daddy is making us a home.' Her and Brent have a special little relationship and it's so sweet.

Last night when Brent came home I found him in Audrey's room having a super late night tea party. I just laugh it's just a season so she can have some late night bonding with daddy. As long as he's not waking up monkey #2 it's all good.

I have to admit Beckham has been sleeping a TON and I love it! 13+hrs every night! I am a mom that loves sleep so bring it on!!

I am surprised how well I am doing with being a 'single' mom. I guess in tougher then I thought. I told Brent the one thing I hate is that I now have to pick up pradas poop. I have enough bums to wipe during the day I'm not really 'in the mood' to clean up after our dogs. Don't worry I put on my big girl panties and sucked it up ha ha.
